Jonny Allen – Sports Massage Therapist

Adam Whatley – Osteopath & Personal Trainer

Why I do what I do As a Sports Massage Therapist my main aim is to help people improve their wellbeing and achieve their goals.

Whether this is to achieve a personal best you’ve been striving for in the gym, or to simply complete everyday tasks pain free. My treatments involve a combination of techniques including deep tissue massage, soft tissue releases, and active and passive stretching.

These treatments can help relieve any aches and pains you may have, improve your recovery time between exercise, and increase your range of movement and flexibility. About me I qualified as a Sports Massage therapist in 2019 after graduating from Loughborough University in 2017 with a BSc (hons) in Sports and Exercise Science.

After graduating from Loughborough University, I worked at Solihull School for one year, gaining experience in PE Teaching, Sports Coaching, and Strength & Conditioning. Since then, I qualified in, and have been working as a Sports Massage Therapist, treating people from a variety of backgrounds ranging from elite athletes to office workers. I am currently studying a Masters degree in Physiotherapy at Birmingham University, where I hope to take forward my experience as a Sports Massage Therapist into a future career in Physiotherapy.
