Phil Evans – Lead Physiotherapist

What makes me the right person to help you reduce your pain, move better, look better and feel better?

Why I do what I do

I am passionate about helping people reduce their aches and pains!

At Urban Body we focus on finding the underlying problem that’s causing the pain or injury rather than just your symptoms. We offer fast and effective treatment and look at how to maintain optimum health for the future. Our clients are happier, feel fitter, younger and regain the zest for life. They have stopped wasting time, ignoring the problem and have followed a step by step plan with lots of guidance, hands on treatment and support. As a result they are in a lot less pain, fitter and happier!

About me

I qualified in 2008 with an MSc in Physiotherapy from University of Birmingham and a BSc (hons) in Sports Rehabilitation from St Marys College in 2006.

I have spent the last 10 years working at Loughborough University Physiotherapy clinic for treating elite athletes of all sports, as well as being the lead physiotherapist for the Loughborough students 1st XV rugby team and the clinical lead physiotherapist for the University clinic.

I have also been involved with the GB Bobsleigh, GB Judo squad and Leicestershire County Cricket Club and am currently the head Physiotherapist at Solihull School.

The skills and experience I have obtained enables me to treat patients of all ages from all walks of life irrespective of whether they have been involved with sport or not. My aim is the simple; to return you to at least your pre-injury level of fitness and if possible, to develop beyond.
