Tired of knee pain? Is it getting in the way of everyday life? Why not transform your daily life with Custom Orthotics?

As Spring approaches, you may be thinking about getting back to your exercise routine or getting back to a hobby such as walking, hiking or maybe even a spot of golf, but you’re knee pain is holding you back.

Or perhaps you’re passionate about your favourite hobbies – whether it’s gardening, playing sports, or dancing – but knee pain casts a shadow over your enjoyment, dampening your spirits and limiting your ability to fully immerse yourself in the activities you love.

Whatever the scenario, are you tired of feeling sidelined by persistent knee pain? If so, we hear you, we know how debilitating knee pain can be and how much it can impact the quality of your life.

But fear not, because amidst the struggle and discomfort, there’s a glimmer of hope – a solution that can offer relief and restore your zest for life: orthotics for knee pain.

But what exactly are orthotics?

We get this question a lot so we will keep it simple!

Orthotics are very much like insoles that you place inside your shoes, but they are in fact medical devices, a bit like prescription glasses.

Like prescription glasses, they are customised to each individual and offer foot support as well as correct alignment of the whole body. Being properly aligned is important for everyone.

Your feet are the foundation of your body.

If your feet are in the wrong position, then so is your ankle, knee, hip and lower back, which affects your neck and shoulder position as well, and can eventually lead to pain.

These custom made insoles are worn inside your shoes, seamlessly integrating into your daily routine to provide unparalleled support, cushioning, and alignment to your feet and lower limbs.

Each pair of orthotics is uniquely tailored to address your individual biomechanical issues, ensuring optimal functionality and comfort, working tirelessly to improve your foot function and alleviate the strain on your knees.

Here are 4 reasons how having custom orthotics can have transformative benefits for knee pain relief, shedding light on how these remarkable devices can help you reclaim your mobility and embrace life to the fullest:

1. Alignment and Stability:

One of the benefits of orthotics is their ability to promote proper alignment and stability.

Misalignment in the feet can lead to excessive stress and strain on the knees, often making pain and discomfort worse.

By correcting alignment issues, orthotics help distribute pressure evenly, relieving existing pain and reducing the risk of knee injuries.

2. Shock Absorption:

Orthotics are equipped with advanced cushioning materials that absorb shock and impact during movement.

This feature is particularly beneficial for individuals with knee osteoarthritis or those engaged in high-impact activities.

By minimising the impact transmitted to the knees with each step, orthotics help alleviate pain and protect the joint from further damage.

3. Offloading Pressure:

Orthotics can play a crucial role in offloading pressure from specific areas of the knee.By redistributing weight and reducing friction, orthotics help relieve pain and prevent further irritation, allowing for improved mobility and comfort.

4. Improved Biomechanics:

Orthotics address biomechanical abnormalities in the feet, such as overpronation or supination, which can contribute to knee pain.

By providing support and stability, orthotics help correct faulty mechanics, restoring proper foot function and reducing stress on the knees.

This results in improved gait efficiency and reduced risk of injury.

Join us at The National Outdoor Expo For Your Assessment

If you are a hiker, walker, runner or just love to keep active – then this is the perfect show for you!

If you love being active but are often forced to stop because of nagging foot, knee, hip or joint pain – Come and see us for an Orthotic Assessment while you browse the expo.

What will happen at your assessment?

When arriving for an Orthotics Assessment, we map your feet using a 3D scanner.

We then look at the position of your knees, lower back, and hips and check spinal strength, flexibility and muscle strength to see where imbalance needs correcting or additional support is required.

A bespoke orthotic insole is then created with a state-of-the-art 3D printer using soft TPU, an eco- friendly plastic which creates a very precise and breathable mould and is built to last and comes with a 10-year guarantee. This will be mailed out to you after the show.
